2024 Event Details:
On January 27th, under the watchful eye of the full moon's gaze, our first annual SOLD OUT haunted folk formal erupted at Fusion Theatre. This otherworldly winter spectacle brought together a variety of New Mexico's finest performing artists to celebrate alternative folk music, circus culture, and mystical entertainment.
Attendees enjoyed live music, carnival games, circus performances, tarot readings, cocktail specials and fair food, raffles, fantastical photo booths, and more! Together--in equally fanciful and horrifying costumes--we reveled in the madness and mayhem that ensued.
This event was created and headlined by alt-rock orchestra Dust City Opera, presented by AMP Concerts at Fusion Theatre. We are pleased to announce this will be an annual event in Albuquerque, New Mexico and we are looking forward to touring this new work across the region and the U.S. in coming seasons!
2024 Supporting Performers:
- Conservation Carnivale Science Circus celebrates and uplifts the non-human world through entertaining educational experiences.
- The Giovanni String Quartet of Albuquerque is a traditional string quartet composed of two violins, viola, and cello, performing across New Mexico since 2005.
- Bonnie Bigheart is a trauma informed Tarot Reader with 17 years of professional mental health experience. Highly intuitive, concise, empathetic and very accurate.
